Anybody use these this spring? I just wondered what opinions you may have about them. I see alot of discussion on the 12 ga. Thugs but how about some on the 1 1/4 oz.  # 5 shot 20 ga. loads.
Deer see you and think you are a stump. The Old Gobbler sees a stump and thinks it is YOU!

I patterned some after my season was over. In a 20 gauge 26" barreled 870 using a SSX it printed 110 in the 10" at 30yds. The Winchester Double x 5s and Remington Nitro Turkey 5s were within 1 or 2 pellets of Thugs at the same distance.

I shot them at 35yds in my 870 youth with a 21" barrel with a .570 hastings choke and got 90+ pellets
in the circle
it's not the harvest,it's the chase

Is that 90 in a 10 inch circle at 35 yards? Sounds to me like a decent pattern with #5's.
