Will be at my place in Fairview next week. Were you anywhere near there?

I was in the Houghton Lake area.  It turned cold Friday and had snow Sunday. Heading back North later in the week on the rising temps.

That is so fantastic!! You northern guys have no idea how lucky you are to have them! The shrooms we find down south will make you see psychedelic but they ain't morels. That's for sure!!

Been a great year for morels in Missouri, I know of a couple guys that are up to 40lbs or more. I've found around 7 or 8 on just a couple trips out. I usually don't get into mushroom hunting much, usually it coincides with turkey season and the turkeys win. But with the weird weather this year the shrooms were really popping up late, after our wwaaaaayyyy too short turkey season was over.
