WOULDA been nice had the cows waited about 5 minutes to invade the field I was set up on this morning.
That SHOULDA been enuff time for at least one of the trio of longbeards to step into a shooting lane,
where I COULDA got a clean shot...but NO, the cows had to come in and run them off!
To be continued Friday!

Yeah, that sounds about right. One of my spots it's horses instead of cows.

guesswho

Just add DIDDA to the equation friday.  Good luck!
If I'm not back in five minutes, wait longer!

I hate when this happens there use to be a person who would let there horses 8 of them run all over the place .they always stayed on my property a lot since I had mineral blocks out and feeders. They screwed up many of my hunts nothing like heard of horses running through llllthe woods. Needless to say the didn't make it threw rifle season one year someone must of got mad.

I was hunting in Oklahoma a few years back, and had my dekes out in a field edge. About an hour later, at least 100 cows walk into the field. They spotted my dekes, and walked over to check them out. The formed a circle around my decoys, ALL OF THEM!!!
I had to jump up, charge them and scare them off. 10 minutes later, they were back and surrounded the dekes again. ;D  This time my buddy scared them off. Then they returned again. So we scared them off, picked up the dekes, and found another spot to hunt. ;D

That stinks because they hardly ever just pass threw. They always want to hang out.

Next time just get ya 50lb bag of corn and spread it out away from where u hunt. That will keep them busy for awhile and get a salt block also haha

I had to run 30+ cows away from my set up last week in Kansas.  30 minutes later the longbeard was down.

I guess growing up on a cattle farm and always hunting around cows, it does not really bother me.  I've killed a bunch of turkeys in close proximity to cows.

Genesis 27:3 - Now then, get your weapons—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

Funny to hear this is so common.  I hunted a cattle farm in WV a few weeks ago.  I'd have 25 cows following me through the pasture in complete darkness on my way to setup.  They're definitely curious livestock.
