question about aluminum sound

How much difference in sound would an aluminum call in a canarywood pot vs. the same surface in a walnut pot? any way to describe the sounds?

I might be wrong with this but I think the canarywood aluminum would be a little higher pitched then the walnut aluminum.  Scoot
