Striker

Can anyone recommend a good striker for a hooks bronze glass?  My cousin uses a plastic striker that is very thick and sounds really good... he runs it on a thunder dome... one call I would love to find. .  Anyways,  looking for a striker with good grip and some rasp.

I think striker choice depends on how each person runs a call. What works for your friend may not work for you because of different playing styles like running it with a heavy hand or a light touch to name a few. That being said dymondwood,purple heart on glass is usually a good choice.
