tagged out this morning using Fudd again, my club butt fowler. a nice, plump Jake. pretty much happened as we had planned kind of quiet in the morning then 3 gobblers started gobbling. talked to them for 30 minutes and coaxed 3 Jakes in to 5 yards. had to wait for a little separation then Fudd bellowed, the fire flew, smoke rolled and when it all cleared up there lay gobbler number 2 of the year! Mac's canary wood glass did it again! Mark Cornelius many thanks one hell of a call!

Congrats that's pretty awesome.  I would say that it's tough to find places that either have a high stump or fence post to rest that beast on. LOL

this particular smoothbore is pretty limited 25 yards max prefer under 20. i do have others that are jugged choked and can reach out 30 yards.

Congratulations on you bird! It's probably been nearly 10 years ago that I took a nice gobbler with my 12 gauge jug choked fowler with the aid of a black five-gallon bucket dressed up like a strutter. Age has caused me to convert to a Remington 870 with a red dot.
