SoDak last week, double, double your fun!

Took a trip out west last week.  Left early on the 7th to get an afternoon hunt in that same day as we were watching the forcast and a blizzard was on the way......
Glad we did!  We hadn't been in the field 30 minutes when we had birds on us! 

This guy... ...busts the noggins of these two with one pull of the trigger!


then about 2 hours later this happened...the woods just erupted!

I had four gobblers surrounding my jake...two lined up just exactly perfect and with one pull of the trigger...another double, yep...double, double your fun!!

Day two was a little tougher with the weather but we still connected on two more birds..

And Bird smashed the head of this one just a little earlier...

then the next day we awoke to this,  .25" of ice and about 2 ft of snow...
