Duracoat Guns

Anyone have any experience with Duracoat coatings on their turkey guns? Curious to know how durable the coatings are and also how difficult is it to remove from the gun. I have had a couple of guns done recently and I am sure they may come back with some overspray in the barrel and or choke. I've heard acetone will clean that up fairly easy. Any experience or thoughts about duracoat?

I wanted to try it but opted for the durabake on my 1187 , its more durable than rattle can- It came out okay but its a pain to put on , but it sticks on pretty good

I read about that durabake, it sounds like its really durable.  I had a couple of wingmasters that were shiney guns and I was having to tape them every year.  A friend offered to do a couple of guns for the cost of the paint.  OD green on the metal and did a textured black/grey splatter paint on the stocks. Just got one back and it looks great. Ive been reading that acetone will remove the duracoat but it wont hurt the durabake. I will post a pic of them when the other gun is finished. I was a little concerned about overspray due to the action, barrels and chokes being polished.  Sounds like a little acetone will get it off if thats the case. Good luck with the turkeys. Thanks.

I put Duracoat (flat black) on a rifle a few years back. Still looks the same as the day it was painted on.
