In the fall yes. I would be concerned with losing a nest full of eggs in the spring though.

Killed one in the fall about 20 years ago, don't think i would do it again though.

I would love the opportunity to kill any turkey including a bearded hen in the fall with my little double barrel 20 gauge over a truly exceptional bird dog!

I've seen quiet a few bearded hens, there's 4 just in one flock at a property I hunt. Never really thought about taking one.

I've witnessed a hen strut twice, and one even attempted to gobble (sounded worse than a jake in a rain storm). If it all came together and a bearded hen, strutted and tried to gobble id shoot it and get it mounted like that.
