Well I should say it didn't impress me much.
But Hevi-13 shells aren't what they used to be either.
But the Haymaker did 180 in the 10" with the Hevi-13 3" #7's and 125 with the magblends at 40yds. But that same magblend load only did like 156 with my Super Max choke. But if I can't get at least 200 shot in the 10" with a choke with the 7's, I doubt I will keep it. But those Magblend shells are a joke. I expected way better. I think Environ-Metal needs to go back to making the shells they originally were making when they first started packing these loads in the red and gold box. Heck the 3.5" magblends did like 190 out of my 835 and Star Dot choke. You might as well just shoot 6's. That's not what I was hoping to what others have been claiming. But I did find out from Kelly on the phone who is the VP of sales/marketing for Hevi-Shot that the magblends are 1/3 each 5's , 6's, and 7's. So I got to wonder about some of these high number magblend patterns.
