Anyone ever hunted near Columbia KY?

Got a friend who has just been given permission to hunt a farm near Columbia KY. The land owner said there are lots of birds on the place. Anyone have any experience with birds in this area and does anyone know of any public land near Columbia that could be hunted if the farm is a flop? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hunt a couple counties over from Columbia. I have a buddy that hunts columbia. I dont know about your spot but there are plenty of turkeys in Columbia. If that place falls through you could go to Green River WMA in Taylor Co around Campbellsville.

Go for it. You will be hard pressed to find an area around here that doesn't hold birds. Like was said if you don't find them on the farm there are several thousand acres on green river. Good luck.
