Our spring is late down here this year in south Mississippi. Birds aren't doing much at all. I'm headed towards Winona for my 6th time. It was bad last year but scraped up 2 birds. Saw a lot of promising sign for this year. Anyone from south Missouri starting to see any strutters are hearing anything? Thanks

I'm in SW MO rather than south central around Winona but, yes, they're beginning to gobble and strut. Still with the hens. Youth season opens Saturday and I'm hoping the we can get on one before they hen up.
