Killed a good bird yesterday. Rain stopped by 6:30 and man was it wet out. Left the video camera in the truck not wanting it to get wet so no video of this one.
Only heard a few gobbles on the roost. Actually more that what I had expected with the rain and foggy conditions. Set up on one and worked him for 30 to 45 mins and he finally showed himself and died at 35 yds.
20 lbs, 10.5" beard, 1 1/4" spurs
