Basically ordered one last Friday, didn't get a shipping confirmation, and when they finally answered one of my emails they said it was backordered and didn't have a clue when it would come in. Their site still says they have them in stock... Needless to say I cancelled and ordered one from midway. Just a heads up for everyone

I am in the same boat with a 20 gauge SSX for my 870.  A couple of phone calls unanswered and 2 unanswered emails later I find out on here they are backordered too.

That's where I should have ordered mine from, I have ordered from Clark in the past and he has always been top notch.  Tried to save a few pennies, as usual it's not working out well.  If they don't have them by Monday I am going to cancel and order from Clark.

You didn't try to buy from riflescopes.com. The vendor here is webyshops.com. Take a close look at the web address. It's a common web technique to make you think you're buying from somewhere you are not.

The domain riflescopes.com is owned by swfa.com. If you key riflescopes.com into your browser it will automatically forward you to swfa.com. While I've had mixed experience with SWFA, I can't imagine they have anything to do with webyshops.com

In the past I've purchased 2 scopes and a set of 30mm TPS rings from SWFA/Riflescopes.com and had nothing but a good experience. Items were in stock & shipped out fast.
That's just my dealings with them..

Now they are not in until at least Wednesday so I canceled my order and just placed and order with Clark for the 20 gauge SSX.  That's what I should have done in the first place.

I ordered the 20 gauge ssx on 3/16.  Received a confirmation e-mail on 3/17.  Received an email from Jeb Doyle on 3/18 saying they are waiting for a shipment from the supplier (which I had heard about in another thread).  Received an e-mail on 3/19 stating the order was filled and shipped which was received today, 3/21. $5 cheaper than the other site, no tax, free shipping.

Also, the site clearly states webycorp so don't see how they are trying to trick anyone.

I ordered mine for my 835 on 3/9 and got it today 3/21. Not the quickest but they took care of me. I paid with paypal so worst case scenario I could possibly do something about payment if it didn't work out. $34 and change with free shipping and no tax.

I ordered the SSX from webyshops a couple of weeks ago and made a mistake by ordering the TG151X when I should have ordered the TG152X.  So when the wrong choke came and I realized my mistake I emailed them wanting an exchange but they told me the TG152X was on order and was expected in a couple of days.  Two days later they emailed me saying that the chokes had arrived and I asked them to ship me one out and I would just send the other one back for a refund.  About three days later I received the correct choke.  I am very pleased with their service and would not hesitate to order from them again.  However, if I had known Clark sold the SSX, I would have ordered from him to begin with.
