I've got the synthetic also. I have a buddy that has the wood. Can't tell that much difference in them. They are both awesome.

I love my wood one! I have not used the synthetic, but only because the wife bought the wood one for me. I would have bought synthetic...

I have the synthetic also, when we ordered them we asked if there was a difference and where told no. Just personal preference, since its gonna bang around in the vest, I went with synthetic.
