Turkey pics from this morning 2-15-13

I was out for a little ride this morning and took these pics.  17 degrees and strutting turkeys.  There is currently about 50 birds in this flock, most of them being jakes, and hens.  They stay within this 100 yard radius all day.  It is right by an old farm with lots of loose corn for them to peck at, and some good roosting trees too.   There was also a nice herd of 30 Elk out this morning but they were to far off to get good pics.

red that was either a typo, or I went into the future to see what my turkey season would be like.  You decide.  LOL

OH MY GOODNESS!   There is nothing worse that full fanned, barely past jake stage, gobble their heads off 2 year old gobblers!  I would be more than willing to come up and take care of them while you chase the dominant birds around!
