Choke Constriction and Shot Size

I was wondering which choke constriction would be better for shooting Hevi-13 3" #6's, would a .665 or .660 be better?   I have a Remington 870 with a 28" barrel that I plan on using, outfitted with tru-glo sights on it.  I need to know which constriction is better suited for #6's.  Thanks in advance!  and I'm new here, but it seems like the place to talk turkey hunting.

Just call Indian Creek and tell them what gun you have and what load you are going to shoot. They will tell you what constriction you need.

You are right on the money. Each designer has his idea of what works best when it comes to the "internal geometry" of the choke tube. That's why one choke with an e.d. of .650 and another choke with an e.d. of .660 may perform very similarly with a given shotshell.

Honestly, out of my Ithaca 37 12ga (winchoke) I did not see much of any difference between .665 and .660. It really did not even make a noticeable difference shooting 7's out of either.
