About that time I start getting primed up again to chase spring gobblers. After having the thought of turkey season tucked away in the back of my mind a few months, it is close enough to see light at the end of the tunnel. I always end every turkey season wrung out, exhausted, half broke and broke down, but already looking forward to the next one. I believe all true career turkey hunter feels this way. The arrival of my midwest turkey call supply catalog this morning has only worsened the fever. Anyone else already feeling the itch? I can almost hear that first gobble breaking the silence already.

Been feeling it since the last day of deer season... I try to get caught up on everything on my "Honey to do list" during the off season so come spring I can just focus on those beautiful gobblers...... Come on Spring.....

Deer season still has a week left here and I am already feeling the itch! I have already patterned the 20 gauge, checked my calls, and started scouting. I am trying to do enough reloading and honey-do's to keep my mind occupied. It isn't working very well! Can't wait til March 15th!!!

Same here guys, so tired and wore down by the end of spring season, but after a few days rest I realize how much I miss chasing turkey's. Duck season goes out this Sunday then the long wait  for March 23. With a little predator hunting in Feb. the convention at Nashville and a lot of scouting it will be turkey chasing time before you know it.  :happy0064:
