mossberg 935 grand slam turkey?

Any reviews/comments/thoughts on this gun? Is it drilled and tapped?

That is my Mossy 935 DRT in my avatar. It is not the GS model, but it is drilled and tapped from the factory. I added the Choate pistol grip stock and bought a 22" barrel for it. Threw a set of Tru Glo Magnum Gobble Dot sights on it and a Sumtoy choke. Shooting HEVI 13 #7s, and even with the short barrel, it patterns viciously! You won't be disappointed.

I can't wait to shoot my 24" Turkey model! If I had run across the deal like I did on this one and it been the GS model I would have bought it in a heartbeat. I would stick a SumToy 675 or a Pure Gold 670 in it and let it rock!

That gun is hard to beat for performance in a 3.5" chambered self-loader. A lot of value and excellent performance. You have a variety of chokes that will work well and yes, it's is drilled and tapped at the factory.

I've had mine for a while now and it cycles all shells, including 2.75". I much prefer 3" shells with mine and the only addition I've made is a neoprene sleeve to cushion my cheek a bit.

The only complaint I've heard is that the gun is a bit heavy.

There are several factory chokes that will work well, most in the .670 range. It's really a matter of what you want to spend.

I have one and killed several turkeys with it. The gun is a bit heavy and mine never did cycle 2 3/4 inch loads that great. Other than that, it is a good gun.
