Spring Creek Calls

I shoot that choke, but with 3" loads in 6's and 7's. May be a bit tight for a 3.5" load.

I used to shoot that set up only with lead loads....my pattern started to blowout about 32 yards. I never had a good 40 yard pattern.....but again that was with lead 3.5 s.

I'm shooting 3.5" hevi 6's out of a kicks .655 in a super black eagle II. I got about 220 in the 10 with one lot # and the other lot (ordered couple boxes from cabelas and they sent me 2 different lot #'s) I only pulled off 170 or so. But either pattern was more than enough and I flattened a bird at about 45yds. I got 4 boxes of 3" 6's to try so we'll see if there's a difference.

But the bore of your Benelli barrel is 6-8 100th's smaller than his Remington's, so a .660-.665 Kicks should pattern those loads comparably in his Remington.

That Kick's .655 in a Remington barrel shoots lights out with the 3 inch Hevi #7's.   :OGturkeyhead:

Thanks i might have to give that combo a try. Will the 7s have enough punch out on the further shots

Good point, hadn't even considered that. Good ol tight Italian bores lol
