Here is a very special and rare call for sale . This call is a collaboration of sorts , made by Walter Winterbottom and his stepson , JIm Chilton , two of Eminence , MIssouri's well known callmakers who are both featured in Earl Mickel's books . Walter is most remembered as the grandfather of the boat paddle trurkey call as his call were the inspiration for Neil Cost's boat paddle . Back in 2010 Jim was going through some of his stored items and imagine his surprise when he opened a box and pulled out a paper sack which held the last longbox made by Walter alongside 3 cedar paddles that Walt had made back in the 70's. Jim used a piece of butternut leftover in Walt's shop to make the body of this call in the exact style of Walter . He then attached one of the cedar paddles for the lid making this a very rare Father and Son call . You won't find another one like this anywhere and it is priced at only $400 TYD .
