"Bear puke"

I was on Facebook earlier and a lady hunter was talking about seeing bear sign and with that she added that she saw a pile of "bear puke", even showed a picture of it.
It was clearly scat from a bear that had been eating apples or pears but she would not listen and even said her "bear hunter friends" told her it was puke. I tried to tell her they were messing with her then she said "NO,it was definitely not scat" and then "unfriended" me.

Where Kamski and I hunted in Ontario we would often find bear scat filled with different colored plastic bags. If the lady hunter seen that  she would probably think that bear was shoppin at Wal Mart.

The place I bear hunted last year has a lot of elderberries ripening just before season.  While out scouting, my buddy saw a bear in the woods and rushed me back to the 4 wheelers before I really knew what he had going on.  We went back to look for tracks, etc since I had not seen the bear.  He called me over to look at a soupy blob of purple elderberry scat.  That lady probably would have thought the bear choked while eating Barney and threw up.

Maybe that's like me coating a dog t*rd with powdered sugar and claimin' it's a donut!
