Genesis 1:26-27 (NKJV)
26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Genesis 2:7(NKJV)
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
Ever have one of those days when things didn't go the way you were planning? Maybe things just fell apart? Ever wonder why you were put on the earth?
There is a purpose for you, and me. God made you, me, and everyone else, having a purpose for each. It was not by accident. The Spirit of God has been "breathed into (our) nostrils".
So, maybe during the next thoughts of doubt, we may remember, we are here for a reason, and that reason is not for ourselves, but for God's. Our very existence is due to God, and His breath of life.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your love, grace, mercy, and "breath of life." Thank you for the life we have in eternity, due to the salvation we have through Your son Jesus. Help us to remember we are here to do Your will, and to bring You glory.
Forgive me of the grips and complaining I do at the insignificant things, when compared to Your big picture. Help us to be in tune with the Holy Spirit, and your purpose for us. May we, when we have thoughts of doubt, remember we are Your people, and may we reflect on how we may serve You in the things we do and say.
Thank you for another day. For it is in Jesus name we ask and claim these things, Amen!!!
