Any chance you guys know of any new snake proof waterproof boots?  Not interested in rubber.  Prefer lace fronts with side zip. Reviews seem not very good online when it comes to waterproofing.

I have the rocky snake boots.  I'm on my second season with them.  They are still waterproof and doing well.  When I bought them I figured I'd get two season out of them. I just had them on while scouting and they were fine.

Danner sharptails. One of the better ones out there, in my opinion. In my experience, anything by Rocky is junk as far as waterproof goes.

I have a pair of rocky.  They don't make my model anymore.  They are good comfortable boots, but I've been waterproofing them heavy the last 4 or so years.  They are fine till I cross 50' wide creek 12" deep. They give out every time.

Just finished a successful Osceola hunt with Muck Snakeproof boots. They are rubber, not lace-up, but completely waterproof in the nasty Florida swamps. Very comfortable too. I love 'em.....

They're not a side zip boot but I haven't had any issues with the Rocky Boa.

I have the Rocky Boots lace ups. They were waterproof for about half a season

My rocky are very comfortable. I have put hundreds of miles on them without a doubt. Considering waterproof socks? Any thoughts?

I got the Venom 2s from Lacrosse a couple seasons ago and so far I'm happy with them. I got them when I lived in Arizona, but I still wear them in NY because I like how comfortable they are. Waterproofing has held up really well in the beaver swamps and crick crossings we have

No such thing lol. Get some turtle skins.

How does the turtle skins keep me from having water in my boots?

If you want "waterproof" all day every day there is only one choice, rubber boots. It is what it is. I run Lacrosse grange with turtle skins and love the combo. I have tried them all in 40 years.
