Looking to buying a new bench top model mini, preferably with reverse and variable speeds.....let me know which are the best from your findings.....appreciate any input. Budget is $4-$500

if possible get a Vicmarc VL 100 ...........search on line for a used one ......or call woodworkersemporium  for dealer .....

I love my Delta but I also could not find a Vicmar in my price range

I am sold on this lathe. I have turned more calls on mine then you can count. They have sevral models, but this one is the one I have, of course when I bought mine it sold for 299.00 this is how much they have come up, because they sell and remain in the top list of lathes.
