Turkeys still in the rut?

Been out last weekend, yesterday and today turkey hunting, have not heard or seen any gobblers. Have used all my bag of tricks . Are they done rutting, seems early? Is there any other explanations?  Getting frustrated, not much time left in the season. Any advice on how to locate them or get them to talk to me? Thank you!

     I don't know what area of the country you are from but here in my part of WV it was pretty much over before it started the last week of April.  I missed maybe only 3 days of our season and heard 4 birds total and the last week and a half there was no gobbling.  Maybe only 4-5 birds taken in the small town that I live near.  At the risk of sounding jealous, those guys are known baiters.  I took 1 bird this year and that was in the first week of the VA. season.  Early spring basically messed the birds up.

Killed a bird on May 19th in WNY.  Didn't make a peep until he came into the field I had a hen decoy setup in, then he was a strut and gobble machine.. it's still going here at least.. just not as hot and heavy as a couple week ago.

Slowing down here in southern MI. Got one to gobble this morning 3 times, all to my owl hoots. Would not respond to calling, crows or any other sounds in the woods. Tried to wait him out, 2.5 hours was enough. This was the first to gobble in the last 3 times out.

I have seen 7 toms strutting with hens in the last 4 days while driving. As stated though, I think its winding down here.

Friday I killed my 2nd bird which gobbled for close to an hour and a half before flying down.  I had at least 2-3 other birds gobbling around me that morning.  This was in the NE part of Ohio.  On  Saturday I took a buddy to one of my spots and he killed a nice strutter that had 3 hens with him  before 7:00.  Unfortunately our season ended Sunday...
