first of 2012- afternoon bird

Hey guys, i setup this after noon at 415pm near a roosting area and set out my bobbin head hen decoy and settled in against a tree. did some yelps and clucks and waited. i decided to grab a book and start to read and looked up and had a bird sneaking in without making a sound, bird got to 40 yds and i heard footstps to my right. looked over and couldnt see anything but it sounded like a deer i turned back and the tom was getting nervous so i pulled the trigger and dropped the bird.
22lbs  10 1/4" and 5" double beard with spurs almost an inch.
feels good to get one out of the way before work starts monday!
