I am wanting to get me a new stock for my 835. Just wanting to know what my options are. Looked at their website and they did not have much.

I'd recommend that you take a look at ATI stocks at  http://www.atigunstocks.com/

They make some excellent stocks for your 835, including the AKITA stocks with several different camo patterns. Their camo is injected into the stock and not just a film that's on it. Nothing seems to effect it.

Thanks,

I run the ATI traditional pistol grip stock on my 835 turkey gun, kept my factory forarm.  I sent it off and had it dipped to match the camo pattern on the gun.  I really like the traditional grip on my gun but it does have a few issues.  The pistol grip base over hanges the back of the trigger assembly making it necessary to loosen the stock to remove the trigger assembly.  You reuse the factory attachment bolt and I found the stock allowed the bolt to seat too deep into the receiver and interfere with the safety slide.  A few extra washers on the back of the bolt resolved this. Also the hollow material makes a bit of noise when tapped.  I found this easy to overcome by stuffing the hollow full of paper towel.

On my wife's 500 I used the AKITA stock because of its adjustability.  I have absolutely no issues with the stock.  I can shorten it to fit her and then in a second lengthen it to fit me.

I love my thumbhole stock I got directly from Mossberg. Comfortable, reduces recoil and even my recoil sensitive 78 year old father with a bad shoulder can shoot 3" mag blends with zero issues.

Yes the tang safety is a little awkward with a pistol or thumb hole grip.  Replace the safety with this one and you can push it off with your index finger.

I like the thumbhole stock idea, but right now I am having to use a beartooth comb riser to see through my red dot sight. Will this stock help me to eliminate the riser?

GOT A ATI ON MY MOSSY 835 AND IT DOES BRING U UP HIGHER THAN THE ORIGINAL STOCK. THE ORIGINAL STOCK SORTA COMES DOWN AND THE ATI GOES STRAIGHT BACK

Yes it does. It'll reduce the drop at the heel by quite a bit, making the whole thing much more in line.  A good thing to help reduce barrel whip, which is where most guys actually feel the recoil...in their cheeks.

Bought mine for my two 835's and the wife's 500 from www.brownells.com

Removing the factory screw is a pain because it is a one way screw slot.  I used a dremmel to carefully cut a full slot into it so a screw driver would engage.  Remove the trigger assembly, mount the gun in a vice or on sand bags with the barrel lower than the stock, have someone else hold the safety block up inside the receiver while you line up and install the new parts.  First one is aggravating, second and third were much easier.
