Crappiepro's 2012 bird
April 27, 2012, 02:17:48 PM
Well I got it done! We roosted 5 birds last night. We slipped in at 5am this morning and set a blind in a field 70yrds from them. Well you guessed it they went out into the field and then clear to the other side. They picked up the hens. Finally the hens left them a 2 toms came back to us at 9am or so. There was 3 of us settin in this blind laughing and cuttin up and I think we spooked the birds laughing about shooting them both on the count of 3 LOL. Well I shot and my buddy didn't LOL. It's weight 25lbs.an 11in. beard with 24mm spurs. It was one the best hunts I had went on LOL.

Nice bird!
The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

Congrats on the nice bird. How the heck long is 24mm? I've never seen one listed in mm's before..I am assuming it is just under 1".. Well done, Crappiepro..
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
