Has anyone had any luck shooting the Hevi-13 7 out of a more open choke, say like a.675 I'm looking for just decent numbers at 40,maybe 150 or so but want a wider pattern with good 20 inch numbers at 30 yards. I am currently getting around 280 at 28 to 30 yards with Federal hvy 7 and 160 at 40 but my pattern at 30 steps is pretty much a 10 inch pattern.Shooting an old school 11-87 21inch bbl. Primos tightwad. I have a ventilator,have not tried it yet ,but its not going to do much better at 30.
