Hi guys just checking to see if I've got everything to be legal. We got our permits on line and printed them out. plugs are in the shot guns, the fellow I'm going with has been there half a dozen times and says thers and orange sticker we need for the guns anybody fill me in on these and anything else i may have over looked to be legal. thanks in advance, Don

Yes, there is a little yellow "be safe" sticker which is required. To be honest, mine is worn off, and I haven't taken time to pick up a replacement, which, I think, should be available at any permit vendor. Hopefully, this would be considered a minor infraction, since these aren't available online, but to be safe, you might want to try and pick one up. Walmarts are normally a license vendor, as well as many smaller establishments.

Good luck. I killed a nice bird at 9:01 yesterday morning.

Probably 3/4 of the times I've tried to get the sticker, the license vendor doesnt have any.  There's a Wal-Mart right on the state line that I usually buy my license at, and most of the time, the guy behind the counter doesnt even have any idea what I'm talking about.

Thanks guys we'll be there a week so we'll try to find a couple stickers.

You had better have that "Be Safe" sticker on your gun or the local agent will let you hear about it.  I always have extra with me because they do tend to wear off, especially if you do any kind of running and gunning.  Grab extras!  Also you will need ziplock bags/zip ties or tape to attach your tags to the turkey.  This is important too because if they catch you carrying a bird without a tag, they will not hesitate to write you a ticket.  Just so you know, the hunting is very hard right now in Northern Missouri.  Some guys are getting lucky on the two year olds coming in but the birds are henned up awfully bad right now and yesterday was probably the worst day of hunting I have had in 3 years.  It was the first time in a long time that I knew I had no chance of calling in a turkey.  Good luck and safe travels.

If you have time you can get the "be safe" sticker from the conservation dept. Walmart was all out the other day. Along with the twist tie and a plastic baggie, you will have to notch your tag on the day and month of the kill. Good luck to you. Sam

went to Kansas Last year and as we were driving through Missouri, I thought to myself sure looks like some Good Turkey Hunting. So any of you Missouri folks that would like to have me out to Hunt, I would be indebted to you, and you could also Help me check 1 more thing off my Bucket List.. No all kidding aside is there Public land and what part of the state is Best I may try and do a Missouri Hunt next year, Or I would be willing to Trade a Ky Turkey Hunt, 300 + acers for some Private land Turkey Hunting in Missouri.
