New Barrel for 870 Express

Sorry to re-post this but I was out of town at an Ice fishing tournament and when I got home my post had disappeared.  I want to buy a new barrel for my old Rem 870 express.  I want to buy the 23 inch Super turkey barrel....will it fit on my 870 express "Magnum" receiver?  The catalog says it is for the "Super Magnum" (3.5") receiver.  Thanks....

I wouldn't do it. I have never had any luck with short barrels. The longer the better in my book.

I've had opposite results. Shorter is easier to carry and hold up, reducing fatigue, IMO. I went from the 28" barrel to a 21" barrel with no ill effects.
