Shoot or not?

Know your equipment and yourself.  I'm good to 50 yards but that is my maximum comfort level and I try to get the bird closer.  As I said in another thread, I take the first confident/comfortable shot.  Sometimes that means letting him walk.  Every situation works out differently.
