Does anyone have any trigger mods they'd care to share? :toothy9:

DON"T mess with your trigger if you don't know what your doing.  Several guys on here are experienced with working the creep out and lessing the trigger pull for you.  Do a search on trigger work and you'll get some help.  Sumtoy is one and here's another, http://triggerwork.net/shotguns.html.  I'm planning on getting my 835 worked on after the season is over.

Good advice! I'm pretty handy and love the detail work! Too close to the Season for me to take the time tho... :camohat:

A compitent gun smith can do what is called a "slug gun" trigger job on them.  While most of my 835's din't need it as their triggers were actually nice (better than ANY Remmy trigger I ever saw), I had one that I did get done and it breaks right at 3 pounds like glass.  Really helps when the birds get in tight and your pattern is the size of a cantelope!

Ok. Gave my 870 SM a trigger tune and it's at 3 lbs also. Two seasons ago, I used it exclusively for turk and deer in honor of my mentor as we used to talk about one gun hunting just by changing the tubes and barrel on an 870. It was a great year!
