Bought me a h&r pardener youth 20 gauge as a cheap toy. I gave 159 for gun and put a remmy 870 saddle mount I had laying around on it. Im wanting to turn it into 40 yard gun for around 225 so I'm going to get some fed heavy #7 and a ssx choke. I also picked up a Simmons pro diamond scope for it whaTs everybody's opinion on another cheap choke to try it's got the wInchoke system

Try the Carlsons .570-575 choke. Cheap and should pattern the Feds good.

I got my SSX win choke in the other day and it's a shooter just like the one for my Remington. The good news is that choke likes Hevi 13 and federal 7s. It's the only one I have that patterns both well. Got a new PG 570 tempest that looks like a shooter to. I only shot it twice around 25 yards and both patterns are tight.

Anyway.....I'd said if you've got the SSX, spend that money on ammo instead of another choke.
