  Recently purchased this gun, says that the choke is optimized for wingmaster hd pellets. Has anyone tried heavy shot or reccomend any peticular load for this gun? Any input would be much appreciated, thanks.

What kind of choke does the gun have in it?

It says "extended Wingmaster HD™ Turkey Rem™ Choke"  it says its optimized for remington wingmaster hd shot

I don't have any, but maybe you can tell us what the diameter is listed at.

You'll be safe with any of the HTL loads through that choke I'd think.

Brad, I shoot that choke in my 11-87 SM ,I shoot the Hevi-13   3 1/2"  2 1/4oz  6's.It averages 190 hits in a 10" at 40yds. I also tried an Indian Creek choke...shoulda saved my money...The factory choke was the hands down winner with that load.
