I got one this afternoon. Hunting has been good, Davisd9 and I have been on birds every hunt with lots of gobbling. This afternoon we were creeping down a road and struck a gobble. Two minutes later I shot. I was hoping Davisd9 would get the shot, but I had the angle. We were standing in the road and the bird was about to make us, so I took him. We were taking pic's and another one fired up, we left our gear and bird on the road and we called in 5 jakes to about ten feet. They were beating up my bird and we got video of them strutting, gobbling and druming. Pic's will follow once I get home, but he scored out a 58.4. 18.4# 9 3/8 BEARD 1 , 1 1/8 spurs.
