CRAP I THOUGHT IT WAS HEAVY BUT. dang not that much. i added a water bladder to my vest yesterday, i have had it for a few years but really havent used it.with it being so hot now i figured i would need it. i used one of the little pockets in the game bag to put the bottom and sewed a strap to hold the top. i have just about everything in the vest except for a few mouth calls and one box call.
BUT 22 POUNDS. GEEEEZ I AM NO GOING TO ENJOY THAT COME THURSDAY.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons. However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

My vest used to be kind of heavy. I have lightened it up over the years. I can't carry all that weight and run and gun the valley and ridges here in NC Pennsylvania. Getting older does'nt help. Years ago when I was in the US Army (Infantry Squad Leader)I could carry a pack 60 to 90 pounds but I was in my early 20's then.
No more!

2 or 3 mouth calls in my pants pocket, speed seat on my waist, shooting/walking stick in hand, and out to the woods I go.
I hate wearing a vest.
