Hevi duck or Hevi goose???

Has anyone fooled with these faster and lighter loads out of their turkey guns?
I'm thinking of getting some 4s and seeing if I can choke them down into a good turkey pattern for 40 yards.
I used to shoot #4 lead for quite a few years and killed a few birds with it. Then I went directly to #6 and #7 Hevi shot and watched the patterns just stack right up.
I'm just thinking that the inherent tight patterning characteristics of Hevi could lead to some extremely lethal, hard hitting patterns with #4 at higher speeds.
Your thoughts???

I have a .715 Xfull lead/steel choke that came with my waterfowl edition 835
it will throw some amazing patterns with Black cloud #4's     plenty tight enough for turkey hunting, but I just don't think the power is there to make a clean kill every time
I have seen these shells knock a duck down like he was hit with a hammer,I have seen ducks fly off wounded
Turkey is a whole lot bigger than the biggest duck
it's not the harvest,it's the chase

But, pellet for pellet, a 1 3/8oz load of #4s (1450 fps) hits harder than 2oz load of #4s at 1090fps.
I just wondered if there were any pattern pics with these loads floating around out there.

Yes the individual pellets have the enrgy to kill a turkey.  A loooong way further than the pattern would hold up.  A 1 3/8 ounce hevi waterfowl load will only have about 172 pelllets depending on the density.  A 2 1/4 ounce load of hevi 7s will have about 600 pellets depending on if its 12 or 13 gm/cc shot and contrary to what a choice few on here think, they will reliably slam a gobbler at 40 yards and in if you put those pellets where they need to go...in the head and neck.  If you pattern 7s, or any size shot for that matter, and they perform on paper, then the only thing you have as a variable then is human error. If you're shooting at the bird while he's in range...Sure you could definetly kill a bird with the waterfowl loads, but how reliably?  I want to know that if I've done my job and put the pattern where it needs to be, there's gonna be a dead bird every time I drop the hammer.  I don't think you'll get that kind of security with such a light load, fast or not.  Patterning them would be tough to get good even dense patterns at those high velocities too.  Imagine how hard it can be to get good patterns with waterfowl loads in waterfowl chokes...now squeeze that pattern down that much more...
