semi vs. pump

I'm not kissing anyone's hind end and never said that"your browning was junk", or that any other shotgun was junk. But you can't say that a particular brand is junk when you got a lemon. They come in all makes and models. Numbers prove that these firearms are not junk when they outsell every other make and model every year and have since they were put into production. Also I am american and every dollar I can keep in this country is staying here and not going to a japanese made browning. I'm sure they are fine guns, never have owned one and don't plan on it. I'll stick with my "junk" AMERICAN made remington and keep killing the AMERICAN wild turkey. Now have some Kool aid.

I Would rather own a Japanesse made Browning before i bought another"American made 870 Express,The wing master and autos are great guns,But the Express line,Not so much for me,Nice looking gun but action was not as clean as a Bps,Fit and finish are not close and the one i bought jammed on every shell from every company(3.5")Remington told me to send it in and they would fix it,Oh you mean a week into turkey season?No thanks,So i went and bought the Browning,Not one Jam or anything so far,Heres to holding my breath it dont happen.,Im sure i got a Lemon but it turned me off of Remington Express 870's.Cheers and Enjoy your Gun and Turkey season.

I own, like and hunt with both. I have 4 turkey specific shotguns not including my Knight TK 2000 ML. Three are pumps and one is an auto. I have a 10 ga, two 12's and a 20. IMO "Variety is the spice of life"

My single shot 12ga with the 32" barrel has never jammed on me once, just joking. I own both simi's and pumps and knock on wood have never had any problems jamming. As far as recoil they all kick with turkey loads

Semi-Auto for me!  Why because I shoot them better.  I tried the pump and did not like them at all.  I guess I have shot O/U's and auto's to many years grouse hunting.

I like both pump and auto's. You may get a little more velocity with a pump. I have an 1187 and an 870 and I pick up the 870 every time but that's just because it's set up for turkey hunting only. Sureshot stock, timney trigger, etc... As a matter of fact I got rid of my browning bps to get my 870 and have been very happy with that decision ever since!
