when to hunt kansas

With the season being 2 months long and having to hunt missouri as well i wonder the best time to go.  i took off opening two days in missouri and if i kill then i can go opening weekend of missouri to ks.  just depends on wheather i guess.  i hunt se ks around neosho county

i love the last week of april there.  birds don't seemed henned up and respond well to calls and decoys.  its also not "too" green then and for whatever reason, i like that period when its just starting to green up.  i dont think you can go wrong anytime, so long as the weather cooperates.  ive fought those 50 mph winds out there and stil been successful, but man, that wind will drive you nuts.  good luck.

Last week of April, first week of May has always been good for me. I'm going for the first few days, and if I don't tag out, I'll be back around that time.

For Missouri, I always go after the first week, so I can can have the option of using both tags in one trip.
