Team Members for 2011

We've only got a couple of Southern boys, so we sure won't make much of a splash early. The Southern teams will be done before we have hardly started

Was I included in the "Southern boys" count even though I don't hunt until at least late April?

No. Southern Boys hunt in March, and wouldn't be caught dead in Minnesota.

Just Remember to us up here in the North everyone is a Southern Boy, even Iowa

I live in Des Moines, which is North. South of Indianola is South. From Indianola to Missouri I think is where all the Confederates went after the Civil War. Totally different people. I remember stopping down by the Missouri line to ask for directions at an old homestead. As we pull up I see an old timer walking back from the barn packing a pistol on his hip. As we got out of car, I see him looking at our Polk County plates, and I wonder if he has a special cemetary in the back for Blue Bellies. I didn't mess around with civilities, because I could see at a glance that this guy could care less. Right away, I'm out with we're lost, looking for so and so. He gives what I perceived as a toothless smile, but could have been a grimace and says, that's my cousin. He gives us directions, and we were glad to get out of there. My son says lucky we stopped at a guy who was the cousin of who we were looking for. Later we found out they were ALL related in that area, and we couldn't have missed on directions from a family member wherever we stopped. I like that part of the state, because once they get to know you, you are sitting well for land. I've recently got my foot in the door,so I need to see if I can expand out my connections.

I guess tnturkeyman28 is going to be a no show.  Monday, Shannon will assign someone else from the "can't wait to get on a team list". We need to get these teams set, and we have tried to get ahold of this guy a couple of different ways. Shannon is trying to get these teams filled, and determine if he will add two teams or not, so waiting any longer isn't an option.
