Someone posted earlier where the got 260 with that number and 300 with the 300514s. So in my opinion no. A better question is what year was this shell produced.

If that's the case then it sounds like there are going to be issues again with this years lots.

(I shot a shell from the lot #300514 and #300524
Both shots at a lasered 40 yards(checked by two different range finders)
60 degrees and no wind
870 SM 26 in barrel 660 JH choke

300514- 308 in ten inch circle
300524- 251 in ten inch circle

300325- 320 average with the same gun, choke ,and weather conditions)
There is a big difference in those lot #'s

SumToy

No we put up 277 with the new test choke.  We was testing a 660 in the SBE guns.  It shot about the same as the other chokes but with this lot number is why I ask,

That was my results ^. I'm not sure when the 300524 was made. I ordered the 524 lot before the 514 lot a month or so ago. If anyone is interested in getting some shells with the lot # 300514, call Rogers sporting goods and ask them to check lot numbers for you. They did it for me when I was looking for certain shells.
