I got a pair of 7x36 Busnells.

Nothing like a good pair of binoculars in the woods.

I have been looking into some Vanguard Binos, personally I am looking at the Spirit EDs in 8 x36 but they have several other ones that look great also at a little cheaper rate than the EDs. I looked through them at an archery store and I would put them up against the $250 bruntons i have and most Nikon or Leupolds I have used

For $80 the Leupold Yosemite are fantastic.

I use Meopta binos and have had a pair of Minox as well.  Both are great.   They are a big step up from the Nikons of the world.  My advise is to go to a store that only sells high quality optics and a lot of times you can get models that are a couple of years old at a really good price. I use binos A LOT and wouldn't use anything under 10 x 42.
