Any tips for taking a photo of the inside of the barrel?

See if your camera has a "Macro" setting.  That is designed for taking close ups.  And I guess just put the lens as close to the barrel as possible but make sure as much light as possible is coming through the other end.  Just out of curiousity, why are you needing a pic of the inside of the barrel?

Thanks. I have been using the macro but the auto focus keeps screwing up the images and focusing in on the wrong part. It seems it's trying to bring the far end of the barrel into focus instead of the part closest to the lens.

The choke threads in the barrel seem to have been tapped off center/crooked. When the factory full choke is installed, it appears that there is one side of the "lip" that the choke rests against that is much narrower than the other. Also, the choke appears uncentered at the very end of the barrel when screwed in fully. I have been having trouble getting my Nova to pattern and I fear that this might be the culprit. I was wanting to have some others look and see if they can discern the difference or if it's all in my head.

I should have done this MUCH sooner but I simply never even thought that this might be an issue.
