870 and hevi-13 #6 testing

Very good pattern! I would stick with the 6's and call it a day. Don't get caught up in the #'s game. I did last year and all 3 turkeys I missed could care less that my patterns were so tight. If anything, they were thankful for that and the fact that my aim was terrible!

With that said, I'm opening my pattern up a bit this year.

There is no question whether that it will work.   The question is do you want to try to improve on it?  I say heck yea.  But that is just me.  I'm always looking for improvement.  I guess that's why I buy so many choke tubes.  But I just like to play around with it.  It's fun and yes it cost money to do and burn some loads.  But I enjoy knowing what works and what doesn't.  Heck I'm going to test 2 new chokes today and will probably shoot about $80 of Hevi-13 in the process.  I'm going to also shoot some loads through some chokes that I already know shoot great.  But like I said I like to play.

Thats a good pattern. I would take a good even 162 all day long.
