Does anyone know of a wood that remains green in color after drying? The closest I can get is mulberry and it is more yiellow. thanks.

If you're going to use them for box calls, I'd use poplar. You can get some pretty deep green poplar from the south.

thanks. didn't think of poplar. Not boxes but each St. Patty's day I make one to commemorate being Irish and was looking for something green. thanks again. Mike
