I don't have a extrema 2 but I have the original one and my barrel was worked to a .740 bore.  I worked with sumtoy chokes and settle on a .665 and with 3 1/2in.   2 1/4 oz. #6 hevi in the 240's @ a lasered 40 yards.

Seems not many people have an answer for this. I just purchased a Xtrema2 as well, and can't decide between a .660 Rhino or a .664 HEVI shot choke... I am shootin 3 1/2" 4x5x7 2 7/16 oz (Because I bought a whole box on sale....)

Xtrema with a 26" barrel and Hevishot .671 choke. The barrel bore on the original Xtrema and Xtrema II are the same.

I've heard a lot of recommendations on here for the Hevi choke out of an Extrema. I read a lot about it last year while doing research for my Extrema 2. I ended up ordering some Nitros and purchased a .668 Jellyhead from Nitro Co. to shoot them with. Otherwise I would've gone with the Hevi choke. I ended up shooting H13 6's through the JH choke with good results. I never counted, but i was probably around the 200 mark. I do know I misjudged a bird last year and killed him stone dead at 58yds. I don't believe you can purchase a JH .668 over the counter, I did try a friends JH .660, and I wasn't impressed. You may wanna give Nito Co. a call and see if they still offer this choke, it was the choke they recommended to me for the 2 7/16 oz load, which they also recommended. Also, the Hevi 13's, performed better than did the 2 7/16 oz Nitros. I think it was around $50-60. Just another option you may wanna check out.

I have an indian creek choke on my xtrema.  It shoots a great pattern.

I would run a 650 or a 670.

Thats a big difference... Is a 650 not to constricted. Have you used both of these and do not like the .660?

SumToy

The 650 put good numbers and 670 puts up good numbers.  Now with our chokes never got anything in the 655 up to the 670 to work.  Now that is just the way our chokes are built.  Not to say that with other companies that they not work in that rang.
