He as in the minority dissent in Heller/Parker and McDonald. Remember that he also did a smarmy interview on gun rights, "If you want to shoot a gun, get on a train to Maryland.." in regards to people in DC and a disregard for their gun rights and self defense.

Does the idiot liberal understands why someone would want to own a gun now?

Justice Breyer robbed at West Indies vacation home

WASHINGTON — Justice Stephen Breyer was robbed last week by a machete-wielding intruder at his vacation home in the West Indies, a Supreme Court spokeswoman said Monday.

The 73-year-old Breyer, wife Joanna and guests were confronted by the robber around 9 p.m. EST Thursday in the home Breyer owns on the Caribbean island of Nevis, spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said. The intruder took about $1,000 in cash and no one was hurt, Arberg said.

She said the robbery was reported to local authorities, but she did not know if an arrest has been made. The U.S. Marshals Service is assisting local authorities and the Supreme Court Police with the investigation, Marshals Service spokesman Jeff Carter said.

Breyer reported on his most recent annual disclosure in June that property he owns on Nevis is worth between $100,000 and $250,000.

The last time a justice was the victim of a crime was in 2004, when a group of young men assaulted Justice David Souter as he jogged on the street in Washington.

In 1996, a man snatched Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's purse while she was out walking with her husband and daughter near their home in Washington. Ginsburg was not hurt.

The justices return from a nearly month-long recess for a closed-door conference on Friday. They will next meet in public on February 21.

Dude, I hate that happened to them, but I bet you they don't get the point.
Notice that if someone wants to do harm to you they don't have to have a gun!
Old dude robbed them with a machette.

How many of you guys have had a talk with your wife on how to protect themselves in case you are not home? I have taught my wife how to load and fire my gun just in case she needs to use it. I would hate to know what would happen if she didn't have an equalizer to help her out if I am not there.

Sherrell

Don't need to teach my Wife..I would hate for someone to break in on her as she can handle a firearm in a expert manner as many whitetails have found out through the years and has no issues in killing a intruder immediately.

Mr16Gauge

Momma and the kids can all handle the 12 ga 870 that is behind the bed room door.

They also each have a CCW and know where the 45 is in my vehicles.

Great advice to be shared with the family.

I doubt it as well. They will just talk about outlawing machetes and kitchen knives because they're "dangerous.". Oh well, what it takes to unglue the eyes of liberal idiots.

Shellwaster

Maybe my line of thinking is a bit skewd but maybe we should send those in the west indies lessons on how to use those machetes instead of just threaten with them.
