end of the MN season

i'm so disapointed that the season closed early this year.  it's been alot tougher then last year with lots of warm weather and light winds.  finally we really got to stack them up this weekend. saturday 18 goldeneyes and sunday 18 goldeneyes 5 mallards and 1 (2nd of the year) hen black scoter.

I have only seen one goldeneye in my life. I was working on a decoy when he came in. I had taken a guy new to the sport and he saw it as it was flying towards us and asked what it was. All I could tell him was SHOOT IT!!!!! Three shots and it flew away unscathed
